do they always update it ?

i ordered my sons bike on monday and got an email yesterday lunch time saying it had been dispatched to yodel/dhl for next day delivery , i checked the tracking system and it says it left leeds at 6,10pm last night, i assume it will go to inverness before it comes here . I have never seen a yodel delivery van so assume they transfer to dhl at some point in journey probably north of the order seeing as we live in middle of nowhre apparently
i guess if i had a rough idea of where it was this morning i wouldnt have to sit in all day waiting

they normally do, i'm waiting on a delivery today and have seen it arrive at reading at 5:10 this morning then it was loaded on to the van at 8:37 from reading or delivery

after reading marios post about yodel i opted to call them as still no update on tracking and i do need to go to the shop but dont want to miss delivery
glad i called , apparently my parcel is not next day delivery at all ( even though email says it is ) but infact 2 day delivery ,it is in transit to a depot an hour + away and will be sent out for delivery tomorrow
typical i have a m/w appointment in morning but i imagine with stops aling the way it will be well into the afternoon early evening before it is here

I wouldnt count your chickens hon! Mine was apparently sent from a gloucester depot

where is wednesday ? just checked for update

no !! ,, just called them asking why it has gone south
apparently it is not next day delivery but 48 hour and the van has gone south for parcels to be seperated for delivery and mine will be delivered to depot in inverness today for delivery tomorrow , same thing they told me yesterday really and not exactly 48 hour delivery either , again glad i called or would have sat in all day

obvuiously i want any parcel i have ordered delivered but this is getting me as its my sons replacement birthday present after the halfords ordeal i gave him the 130 quid from the bike i bought and he has put towards it so his 190 quid is roaming the country
the bad reviews are making me nervous and i have him in my ear every hour asking for updates
