| umm yes it was you ...damn you To be honest I can't blame you entirely, and actually I am grateful hahaha! I was looking for a second biggish present and had my mind set on one of those all in one drawing/art desks...but well they are huge and 50% more than the innotab - so this is better! Reckon I can get desk thingy that for her birthday... after xmas when I have had time to do a 'stock take' on her toys...seriously this kid has taken over half my front room...and she has an entire play room upstairs...but still I find my bedroom, sewing room, kitchen...well everywhere cluttered with toys! I have even taken a huge amount to Grannies, and her bedroom there is now full - but it didn't seem to make much difference |

| I pre-ordered my innotab at £68.99 direct from amazon ... its set to be delivered first week of December BUT they must have sold out of how ever many they due to arrive cos not offering it to pre order anymore... and all the other shops are selling it at £130 So I think I was rather lucky to have seen it for pre order there, as really would not have paid double! |

| I've got a leappad for Ellie. I didn't really compare the two, I just liked the sound of the leappad after reading about it and leapfrog is a brand that like and ave bought for many years. Ellie loves our iPad and she knows now that she's getting her very I-wad for Christmas xx |

| Ive not tried the Innotab but Im a total leapfrog freak, caelyns got a scout and a tag junior and awens getting violet and they are both getting a twinkle twinkle to match their bears so it was brand loyalty for me plus just the fact the leappad looks so slick.
Now I have it ive played and i cant compare but the leappad is as amazing as it looks but the apps are expensive from 3.50 to 20 pound so they are gonna be for birthdays/crimbo money or possibly rewards for behaving. My sis is getting C a download card for a tenner so thats probs gonna be 2 books and she gets money form my nan so possibly some flash cards and a game plus its got 4 free apps anyway so that should tide her over til her birthday tbh
I like the fact you can build on it with apps and game cartridges making it easy for family to chip in and i reckon once the hype is overmore apps and less expensive ones at that will be released.
The cameras not fab but then Im used to a 12mp one on my phone so IM a snob lol. For kids its perfectly adequate. |
