I think my Neighbours husband is cheating on her but all i have is someone elses word for it and i dont know what to do about it. bth i wouldn't put it past him, i'm so torn because if it is right it will rewine her marrage (which he deserves!) but if its not and i say something then i could loose a pretty good friend and neighbour. I dont have any proof at all and if i was to confront him he would know who had told me. I'm really not sure what to do with this, i keep thinking what if it were me, but i really dont know what i would want to happen if the shoe was on the other foot.

I think you should mention it - if it were me id want to know, even if it was only a rumor... in my eyes a good friend would defo say, these things always come out sooner or later x

Maybe stick an anonymous note through her door when he's not there? Stand back and just be a good friend if she comes to you wanting a shoulder.

Oh no that sounds like a horrible situation. Would the neighbour leave him if she knew he was cheating on her? I think the problem is if she would just let him off, then it would hurt her and put you in an awkward situation. I would try and get some proof first and then do something about it. I think if it was my neighbour i would tell her and risk her not speaking to me, as if the other way round i would rather know. x x x

Why don't you be totally honest and say that you have heard the rumour and have no proof but you thought she should be aware. That way you are only making her aware of what other people are saying? X

I'd either keep quite until you know it is true or not or do as laura suggests tell her this person told you.

I'd say nothing! If you really can't sit back and say nothing then a note through the door it would it be. Thing is, if he is up to something he'd lie anyway and make you out to be the lier and your pal would fall out with you. If he isn't then it would cause a whole load of upset for nothing. |

Tbh i wouldn't say anything without any real proof. If it is a rumour i wouldn't want to break up a relationship.. I'd just keep my eye on him for abit!
