Where Jamie was ill for a while and spent most of the night screaming and then needed his inhaler every few hours and had to be woken up (or at least we tried to do it while he was asleep but he kept fighting) he has ended up in bed with us most nights. I don't mind that when his ill and his still not quite right but how long would you leave it until you were strict again? He has gone down in his cot tonight so should I start from now do you think? Or his staying at my Mum's on Wednesday so be fairly lenient until then. We have refused to feed him at night so at least he hasn't got in the habit of that but he has been waking at 10.30 and 2.30 for his inhaler so I suspect he will continue to for a few nights. I feel like he is probably well enough for me to be strict now but am so tired and feel a bit mean. I guess I really want to know if its doing the right thing to start to try and get him back into good habits before his properly well
