| Izzy fell all the way down my wooden stair case this evening just before bed ... I was on the loo of all things Anyway right away she had a puffy cheek bone, bruised nose and was saying her tummy and eye hurt Took her to minor injuries and they checked her out, said to keep an eye on her etc etc and if her face still sore after 5 days to go back I am like a nervous wreck now... as usual she was her normal tomboy stunt child self once we got there, apparently thinking the bed rail is a convenient ladder and rolling all over the bed ... my heart jumped into my mouth a million times and I think now I am going to be worried all the time! |

| these things happen Gracie is sporting what seems to be the fashion must have a black eye with a cut under her eye, where she lauched her self off the toilet at preschool and went face first into the sink, a lovely bruise on her arm where she got it stuck trying to climb out the cat flap and a fantastic massive one on her leg where she flew off the sofa and landed on top of the coffee cup.
they are tougher than we think hun and toddlers are designed to put us in an early grave. and heart failure on a daily basis
you did the right thing hun and took her straight to the hospital i would just check on her a few times in the night to make sure she is ok x |

| They sure are tough cookies...apparently cos they have no 'fear' of falling as such they dont tense like an adult would, so thats why they can have these falls which we think we'd break limbs...but they are just bruised cos they are floppy! I did think something was going to be broken, fingers, wrist whatever so I am so relieved that she seems ok other than the whooping bruises on her face Only just before this, maybe 30 minutes she had manoeuvred her table to about 3 feet from the sofa and was launching herself from standing on the table...onto the sofa .. of curse she thought it was hilarious .. I was not enjoying it half as much! I think she has Dan's 'dare devil' streak .. he is a bit of an adrenalin junkie...so I can only see it getting worse....I am not looking forward to the day she asks to go snowboarding with him |

| They do have no fear, Gracie had the sofa cushion upended on the floor and was jumping from sofa to cushion and falling on to the floor with it I know we will have broken bones by the time she is 5 |

| Libby's the same, she is an absolute nightmare for jumping off things or across things, and if she hurts herself she'll cry for a couple of minutes then go and it again!!! She's already loving Simon's skateboard, was going up and down curbs etc. on her scooter the day she got it so I'm panicking when she's a bit bigger that she'll want to do something 'properly', doesnt help that Simon wants to build a mini ramp in the garden next summer |

| Well this morning her face does not look like it fell down wooden stairs ... the bruise on her cheek bone has faded and the swelling gone, her nose is back to normal too ... super healing lol in only 12 hours!
She says her cheek still hurts, and so does her tummy (must be ribs cos there is no mark) - but other than that its hardly anything |

| Poor Izzy, hope she is feeling much better today.
Must have been the day for it yesterday as Bethany fell over in the kitchen and bit a chunk in her tongue, there was lots of blood so took her to A&E in case she needed stitches. Thankfully she didn't but now has a very sore tongue and thick lip.

| i am amazed i've not been to the hosptial every week with rich, i swear he used to bounce, he fell down stairs off chairs and i wouldnt mind but i was always there, its those 2 mins you go to the toilet.. kids
he fell over his own feet when he was 2 and in the flat where we lived the plug sockets were ones that protuded by about 2inches from the wall, he caught side of his head, bleeding everywhere, i rushed to a&e and he wasnt crying, i got told off for taking him in and he was fine... i just saw red and paniced.
glad shes ok though, must have scared her a little and mommy alot more x |

| I got to see that theory yesterday afternoon about toddlers going limp when falling when Rowan fell down our concrete stairs!!! luckily i was only 3 steps in front of him and i grabbed and picked him up before he could go any further (not easy to do when you have a baby in the other arm)
how is izzy now? |
