| How are you bringing Santa alive this year?
Rowan is really excited about Santa and we live in a flat so was not sure what we can do. But have decided that we are going to make some fresh cookies christmas eve.
Just before Rowan goes to bed we are going to get one of these cookies, put it on a plate, along with a carrot for the reindeer and a glass of milk for santa. There will be no presents under the tree either until Rowan is in bed christmas eve. We will then leave a chunk of carrot, some crumbs of the cookie and leave a little milk in the glass and put back outside the front door for Rowan to check, then he can go in the living room to see if Santa has been.
What will you be doing? |

| Yep, pretty much the same thing but will probs use a mince pie instead (mmm nom nom ) and we'll put them next to the fireplace. Certainly keeping the pressies well hidden in the loft til they're in bed on Christmas Eve, I'm soooo excited to see Libby's face on Christmas morning |

| I bought a santa key so going to leave that out on the doorstep for Santa to let himself in. Hmmm we do have a chimney but... the key seemed easier to explain to Caitlin, might rethink that next year lol. Also leaving out carrot, glass of milk and some cake for Santa so she can see crumbs in morning. I'l be eating the cake & stuart can gnaw at the carrot Dont think im gona bother with soot/snow foot prints. Would only end up having to hoover it in morning and catlin bloody terrified of hoover. Want her to have a tear free xmas day if possible! |

| my 2 older boys have no belief and my youngest has no idea this year wiull be different for us as possibly instead of my older 2 going await 3pm xmas day im asking for them to go away xmas eve and come back xmas day , they always feels rushed to get everything done on xmas day by 3pm and for a change we would like the evening with them purely because D has no idea this year i think this will be the only year i could happily let the boys not be here in the morning and just do santa for them coming back , OH would take D upstairs or something while prezzies were layed out if the boys other faily refuse this and they are here xmas eve then when everyone is in bed ill take out all prezzies from their hideyholes and maybe next year will be able to leave wine carrots and munchies for santa and it ebing understood |

| I'll do what my parents did with me, leave mince pie, carrot and drink out. We left sherry but will probs just do milk with Immi.
Also before she goes to bed I'm make Matt go outside and jingle some bells so she thinks Santa is about.
We don't have gifts for any of us left out, just other family so christmas morning, the sacks will be filled so she knows Santa has been |

| We will be doing most of the above, we will do the reindeer dust, carrot, cake (yuck mince pies!) drink, Santa stop here sign and then off to bed. Will then put all presents out, put a trail of chocolate coins on the floor from the fireplace to the presents as Santa has a hole in his pocket and they use chocolate money in the north pole. We are also doing the Christmas elf thing this year so on Christmas eve as a thank you from Santa for looking after his naughty elf we are having a hamper that has new pjs, Christmas film and nibbles and a teddy for bed |

| We do this every year...Xmas eve..my dad will call the house..in his "Santa" voice..even if he is here..he will sneak off and call each of his grand kids and tell them that he is proud of them being on his nice list..and it helps when he knows some of the naughty they did that year to remind them(teehee). Then we will watch the news..where Santa is flying in the world to get them more psyched. We set out the usual cookies and milk..as well as some veg for Rudolf and the rest of the reindeer. I have a large bell, the ones you see on Santa's reindeer and when the kids are tucked in bed..and almost asleep..I or Shayne will run outside and ring it a few times..and shout...Oooh..he's coming..he's coming...hurry..I hope everyone is sleeping!!! Then we leave evidence..crumbs..some debris..and a letter from Santa and Rudolf thanking them for the treats(can find them on google) xxx |

| We are going to read the night before Christmas on Christmas eve - did it last year where all the family read a page each and Benjamin clapped at the end.
We are also doing reindeer dust And carrot, mince pie and drink before bed then in the morning I'm doing a photo treasure hunt for him to find his stocking which will be in our room, we will then sit in bed together whilst he opens some small stocking presents then will come downstairs for main presents. I'm very excited as this year he has decided he wants a proper bike (with stabilisers) and he's already seen father Christmas and asked him for it so we have had to oblige!
Last year we did the footsteps from the fireplace with flour and he walked through them and all up the stairs so not doing that this year! |
