lisa ,,,, i would think long and hard about your lifestyle first ,,, i also would love a dog but have come to the conclusion i am to selfish to be a dog owner ,, i like to be able to pack up the car and go visiting or disappear for lengthy days out , people we visit for weekends wont have animals in their home so we would always have to find somewhere for the dog and more to the point always leave him./her behind
dont get me wrong i think having a dog with kids growing up is fantastic for them both x xx x

I have one you can have..she's cute..small..doesn't shed or bark. Not talking about Maky! Very Happy
Our Shih-tzu Gizmo! However..she runs off..doesn't listen...has come to have several accidents in the house..loves to ruin furniture by fluffing up the cushions with her sharp nails...throws up alot and get's her hair done at the salon more times a year than I do! You want her? xx

I know what you mean Michelle. I've always had dogs throughout my life, but since I moved out of home I haven't been in a position to have one. But I just miss having one sooooo much. Luckily MIL has one, my mum has a GORGEOUS rescue Boxer and SIL has a wee doggy too.

I've dog sat a springer puppy before now and it compairs to our boxer puppies, completely bonkers!!!

Jen I love Gizmo's name!!! How cute! x

Oh Lisa I felt like this for years too. Having also grown up with dogs and showing them until I left home. I longed for one but never had the lifestyle to make that commitment.

A couple of years ago we moved to a bigger house and felt we were in the position to give a dog a home for life. We re-homed a rescued Border Collie (who is the best dog in the world might I add) We take her with us on holiday and with us as much as we can. She's a big part of the family.

I hope Dave gives in soon and you get one Wink

Lmao @ Jen!!

You can borrow mine if you like Lisa. They are a couple of nutters.

Frostie you have met and Sammy is just as adorable although slightly more fluffy.

Sammy is a great help at taking Wil's dummy away by whacking it out of his mouth with his tail Rolling Eyes
