Sleeping comforters _
PostSubject: Sleeping comforters   Sleeping comforters EmptyFri Dec 09, 2011 10:49 am

Ok I can not go to sleep with out my fan blowing in me. I've tried so many times but I just can not get to sleep. No matter how cold it is I'll still have it on.

Now the reason I do this is because when OH used to work away I'd get so scRed about going to sleep all the small noises scared me so the fan helped cut those out and it was like that for 3 years.

Any suggestions ? I've tried turning it off myself but I then can't sleep at all

I could of written this myself, when L was in our room over summer when he was a baby we had fan on, we left it on after that as warm. Now we cant sleep without it. I am such a light sleeper anything wakes me up and the fan seems to drown out little noises. I tried the other night but ended up putting it on x

I dunno how you sleep with a fan in your face, but who am I to judge - I suck my thumb to fall asleep!

Could you set it on a timer and wean yourself off it, or at least only use it to fall asleep and not be on ALL night. We have a timer that you plug into socket, then plug a lamp in and you push wee sections in (a bit like old central heating timers) and it goes off and on according to that. Im sure it would work for a fan too. You could go to bed at midnight and set it to turn off at 2am so you know you have time to fall asleep & then gradually bring the time forward?
