well since ive lost weight im going to take the plunge and get all my hair cut off for Christmas, I always tie it back and now its so long its right down my back, I know its daft but im bricking it, I've never had it short since I was 13.

i remember when i fist had mine all chopped off not only did i love the shorter length of time to dry it made me look like a whole new person and so much more " with it " lol ! xx

me too at 10am tomorrow morning i am going back to blonde (not been that since I was 19) and having it chopped

Ooh I had all mine chopped off last week and it feels amazing! I'm like you and always wear it up but I got so sick of it and was starting to feel like I was too old for ponytails all the time so bit the bullet and went for it. I think she cut about 10 inches off and went from down to my bum to just above shoulder length and the best part is oh has bought me some limited edition GHDs for Christmas to celebrate

I always get my hair chopped short in early pg as I cant be dealing with time it takes to wash/dry. Hmmm are you pg?

I should really have it cut again this week but cant be bothered. I can now scrape it into a teeny pointy ponytail but im seeing that as a bonus for labour/when I have a pukey newborn!

I love shorter hair, its so much easier to manage and you do feel more presentable/grown up having a style of sorts rather than scraping it back everyday. After Caitlin I grew it down my back again but this time I dont think i'l let it.

i had mine done a while ago about 7 inches off but was still able to put it up, so when i went blonde ihad even more off and i love it havent regretted it once! having coloured again next week just in time for christmas

Ohh you are brave! I had mine all chopped off earlier in the year, to a pretty sort bob ... its now grown back quite long below my shoulders anyway and i refuse to have it cut!

No I haven't been to have it cut yet ... I am terrified of having my hair cut cos they always chop inches off...so its something I have to pluck up lots of courage to do!

I had 6 inches took off mine in sept, I hate it, but that's cause she cut it about inch and half too short, with no style to it, but it's growing on me, but I hate hairdressers and go once a year lol

She kept cutting it because there was a kink.... I said it was fine but she didn't listen, oh well


But I've had inches took off lots of times and loved it

everyone's hair seems to grow really quickly but mine I've been growing it for 2 years now!!
Can't wait to chop it all off after I get married
