Anyone got any ideas about how to stop your tongue hurting? It seems to be covered in ulcers at the moment and it hurts to eat or even drink. Just tried to have a glass of wine and it burned. It seems to be making me produce an excessive amout of saliva as well.

Just stay away from anything spicy, citrus, or hot drinks. Gargle with warm salt water, will sting a bit, but will help heal. Mouth sores heal quickly toots. xxx

Also get some Corsydyl from Boots (the proper one, not the daily one) that will help it heal much quicker

Thanks ladies. The pharmacist gave me some mouthwash thing which stings like nothing else but then numbs the mouth so hoping I'll be able to talk properly even if it doesn't deal with the problem
