| Ok here it is while it's fresh! Came in to be induced as was 2_3cm dilated, popped on drip at 7.15 and set off walking.was examined at around 9 and was still the same, same at 11 and then dr decided at12 to break my waters to get the contractions really going, was about 4cm. Managed to walk for about hour but then was really struggling, didn't know what to do with myself as it flipping hurt lol. Oh tried to get me pain relief so a nurse examIned me at about 2.0 and said it was too late I'd have him in 20 mins and was about 8cm. Dr came up examined me said there was just a tiny bit of cervix in the way could I push so I did and he went off to prep then my body took over and I couldn't stop pushing, meanwhile shouting at everyone cos they were making me bed hop at the same time as pushing lol. Got wheeled in to delivery more bed hopping then two massive pushes and an episiotomy and out he popped at 2.52, cried straight away got cleaned up then handed over to me for a cuddle. A [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Smaller cut than last time so I can actually get up and walk around and sit down Unlike last time, it hurt more but I had no pain relief this time (they don't do gas and air at all and I had some thing in my drip during each contraction last time which helped) so the pre pushing part was worse but everything else has been better, I've even fed him myself and have milk already and am proving to the nurses that I know my baby better than they do so hopefully they'll let me home sooner! |

| I just thought that it might have sounded like I was bragging about the no pain relief lol I totally wasn't believe me I would have had it if they had let me!
bed hopping and pushing was definately an experience I never want to have again I was scared he was gunna pop out mid way! all I remember is shouting at the nurses to gimme a second haha. |
