I was at OHs aunts today meeting his cousins gorge new twin babies, a boy & girl of 9weeks! Made me a lil bit broody.... Anyway talk got round to labour, she'd had a c-sec & was asking how Id found natural delivery. I said about being induced & how id only had back and thigh pains, & didnt experience any abdominal pain. My SIL (who doesnt have kids) said that I probably have a tilted womb??? Apparently she learnt this in her health & soc care course. Iv heard of a tilted womb before, a girl at uni had it and she swore that it would make it hard for her to conceive. She ended up getting PG during uni & then mc, she got PG again about a yr later & now has a gorgeous lil girl. Im now worried that I might have a tilted womb, I may find it hard to conceive and be at increased risk of mc in the future? What do you think? x

Were you induced for any of yours? My bump with Caitlin stopped growing at 34 weeks and they predicted her to be 5/6lb at birth... she was 8lb 1oz! I though Id all the back pain cos I was carrying her so far back if that makes sense.... or possibly induction gave you back pain?

| with my 2nd i was induced but i was having slight contractions anyway they just wanted to speed things up and help things along
so her theory doesnt work in my case but maybe does for some?
i think its probably just pure coincidence xx |

Heys! I have a tilted uterus! Have three kids and was only induced once..and only because I requested an induction. I don't think it matters much, the Ob/Gyn just told me I had one and thought I should know. Asked him if I should be concerned and he said..nope! LOL!

men My labour was bloody sore when I was induced but once they broke my waters at 2cm I went from 2-10cm in 4hrs and delivered 40min later. Pretty quick for a 1st. (Not counting the 12hrs of contracting 0-2cm mind you )

I had back to back with Makynlee...but did experience tummy contractions. Oy-vey! With Matt I was a chicken poo and had an epidural..which slows things down for labour..so I can't tell ya how that went as I was paralyzed from the boobs down! Madisyn..had the induction and she came soo quickly..I almost had her in the vehicle on the way back to the hospital after being sent home. She flew out! They say subsequent labor and deliveries are to be much faster than previous..but I don't know how much of that is true. I think it's up to the baby how fast they want to come. xxx

Frig jen I had an epidural with Caitlin after they broke my waters. Still had her within 4 hrs, wonder how friggin quick it would have been otherwise ! I think once id had the epidural (which only worked on my left side grrr) they took the p*ss and upped the drip to a ridiculous level! I love being able to talk to real women who have experienced things. You all talk far more sense than a 21 yr old who did a module in childcare 3 yrs ago Why do I let myself freak out so easily ?!

LMAO@the talk sense part! Nah..you know it's just experiencing it..everyone's labor and delivery is different. The only reason I had the epi was because I had the woman OB/Gyn with Matt and she scared the crap out of me about the pain threshold with first timers...I hated the feeling of being completely frozen. I didn't find labor all that horrific..it hurts yes..but with the gas and air..it was do-able. xxx

Emma towards the end when epidural def was only half working on one side my pains were really low down behind were pubes would be (tmi ), I think it was just her head pushing down though.... Did your labours get faster each time? Amelie sounded like a really tough birth , was it ever linked to a tilted uterus? Did they tell you about it during your 1st PG? xxx

well mine went .. my first was 3 hours and my second was 5 hours.. and amelie was 6 hours... now amelie would of come quicker if they hadnt of put a epidural in a 9cm... reason being they thought iwas gonna need a c sec .. because of her size... i was in middle of trying to push and they where stopping me... so after ep wen tin and me pushing lol.. the urge finally went away and i laid falttish ont he bed so she would come down while they where preparing theatre.. but 2 hour slater they liften my leg up and she slipped out i never seen thes docs and nurses runnign round like headless chickens wondering how the feck she come out lol.. i did have numbing gel f or a week after and they kept epidural in fro a further 4 hours after the birth aas i was very swollen
