| just went to warm some milk for D in microwave and the light bit started crackling ,smoking and giving off a burny smell this happened to my last microwave and i replaced it immedietly , does this mean my micro is utterly fecked or does the light maybe need changed ? really dont want to replace it a week before friggin xmas |

| yeah i was thinking it was prob fecked i prob will hang off till sales before buying new one now and maybe i should be thankful after my sterilizer post i can buy a bigger one and fit my microwavable one in it |

| are you sure it want the cup you had it in ? i put a bowl in and on it had like silver swirls round the edge and it started cracking and sparking, i suppose the silver stuff must have been like tin foil and thats what caused, it try a plastic bowl or something to check x |

| it was a plastic bottle i hd in it at time ,, the smoke and sparks were deffo coming from the light bitty xx |

| lol im not a mega microwave user ,,,however i have a nasty habit of sticking things on top of microwave ,, mail , bits n bobs , sometimes covering the venty bit |
