| I'm so annoyed, why is it when people buy these big fancy gifts for my son they fail to buy the batteries that go with them??? Oliver has got a cupboard full of toys and no effing batteries. All the toys we got him we made sure he had the batteries to go with so he could play straight away. I've some AA's in and used them for some of the toys but most o them need the big C and D batteries and some need them square ones My son has just gone off in a huff cos he couldn't play with a RC car cos we've no batteries in. (we only keep recargable AA and AAAs in ) Is it an unreasonable request?? Why buy him these all singing all dancing toys without thinking about the batteries in the long run!!! |

| Lol, bless ya. I count my blessings when the toys dont come with batteries . Aimee is currently playing with her new 'silent' piano! (although she is telling me to fix it, so I guess I should add some batteries soon). x |

| Most of Jamie's toys came with batteries which is really annoying as I'd bought a massive bag of them just before his christmas and birthday.
I think I'd test it in the shop (if it was music, etc) and if it didn't work buy batteries to go with it. Does seem a little mean that he has all these new toys he can't play with. Its not like you can keep stocked up with every type of battery there is just in case |
