Jamie has just climbed on his chair, stood up and rocked (its not a rocking chair so no idea how he managed this) and fell off. I thought he'd learn but he got straight back on and did it again. I took the chair away, went to the toilet and came back to find he'd climbed on the toybox. Interestingly his now trying to climb into his cot despite never wanting to be there when his supposed to be. Arrgh what am I going to do with him. Short of moving all the furniture out of our house I'm never going to stop him climbing. Just glad we don't have stairs. Its probably a good job for my sanity that I'm back at work tomorrow.

Sorry Hun, not much I can advise, as soon as they get moving the trouble starts. I'm afraid you've just got to be with him all time and try to teach him not to climb. I really hate that stage! Good luck!

Aww Hun, it's how they learn, when rich was like this I'd chuck all the settee cushions on the floor and tell him to climb that, it was soft and he loved falling and trying again, didn't stop him climbing other stuff but did mean fr 5 mins I knew he could do it and not get hurt

I have a feeling we're going to spend our life in a&e! His currently try to climb the tv cabinet to get that tiny bit closer to itng while Adam is trying to get him to sit on his knee! Mind you all his latest bruises have come from him falling playing so I'm not sure it makes any difference us being there

C used to be the same hon, shes nicknamed the stunt chicken on here for some of the tales and photos i used to have, found her on my fishtank once and in a shelving unit another time. She also used to stand on her rocking horse rocking it back and forth like some kind of circus act. She has survived it and also has atually turned into a fairly cautious toddler believe it or not. Its Awen who hs started now. They are tougher than you think and he may bruise himself a few times but he will learn. Try not to go bald from terror though i know its easier said than done
