Had finlay at dr today and he has an umbilical hernia just thought his belly button was really outty but obv not. She says it's because he's too strong (he's been holding his head up since birth) andshe reckons when he calms down a bit in a month or so it should go.i feel really sorry for him though poor thing, has anyone else had this?

My friends little girl has one and she is 16 months old now. Hers was quite big when she was younger but hers has gradually got smaller as she has got older... The Dr has said if she still has it by the time she is 5 they will operate but they are confident it will be gone by then.

If it's not bothering him don't worry too much about it and like the Dr said it may go in a month or so.

Yes, my nieces little boy has one too, but they've been told that itll probably go on it's own

Yep Tayla had one too but gone now but is left with a small outie, i had an outie till about 11 then it went in :/ x

Dexter had one, only a very small one but it went really quickly, it never bothered him either. x
