soooooooo as im sure you are ALL quite aware i am fairly broody part of that being that i am getting SO OLD, and another that i would like elijah to be quite close to his sibling/s and i am worrying that if i leave it too late i will regret it as they will be too seperate (i.e eli will be off at school etc and won't feel as included?! am i mental?).

but unless some drastic changes happen soonish it's looking like i will have to embark on a career of some kind again and get our little family settled somewhere and so being pregnant this year might just not be practical again...so elijah would be 3 or 4 by the time another baby may come along...

what do you think of that gap? we had kind of decided that eli being about 3 was probably fine but i didn't want it to be much later - i am quite sad at the idea of 4! and what if i wanted more after that, what if i am all shrivelled??!!! yes, i am probably being selfish but is 4 years a bit long for an age gap?

personally i think 4 years is too long ( coming from someone with an 8 year gap between 2 of hers )
i loved having my older 2 so close as they are still close now , loved the no huge gap between them in terms of school and although a bigger gap im loving the fact D and little man will only have near 3 years gap

I would like to try now so there will be a 2 1/2 year gap but noah will be near enough 3 when i have my next. I dont want it any longer than that. Then when they are both at school can concentrate on my career an then maybe have another when i am 30 which will be a big age gap pmsl. But i might decide 2 is all i would likex

how close are your older two? god maybe i should have started having babies 10 years ago and i would have more options now

I like the idea of a two year age gap. There's just under that between me and my sister and then less again between her and my youngest sister and 31/2 years between me and the youngest and we all got on really well. My niece and nephew are two years apart as well. OH had a bigger gap with his brothers and they don't get on (but then my in laws are idiots which is probably why). Actually thinking about it he got on better with his youngest brother and there's at least 5 years between them and it seemed more as his youngest brother has nf which makes him seem younger than he is so I guess it doesn't have to matter

Saying that two years for Jamie means trying soon and I don't want that. I think we're going to aim for a three year age gap although partly because it works better financially (he'll have 15 hours free then). However, when it comes down to it I guess you make whatever you have work for your family. I also wouldn't worry too much about age. We're the same age and I reckon I've got 5 years before I'll start to panic.

There is 5 years between me and my sister and we always got on great and as I was older I could help out a bit more.there is 2 years between my youngest sister and middle one and they fight like cat and dog.

I love having a small gap between my 2 but hubby and his 2 sisters have 3 years between them all and they all get on really well and his mum said she liked that gap and it worked well. I want another one now! xxx

me and my sis have 4 years between us and we were the best of friends right up until I had hannah then we kind of drifted apart. we are still good friends but we fall out a lot more now. probably due to me becoming less selfish since I had hannah.

but I think 4 years is ok. poor hannah will probably have about a 20 year gap because Im too scared to have another right now

there is 2 and a half years between the oldest two and 5 years between finlay and tyler,
dylan and tyler are so close and play together alot, finlay wants to play too but is too small for them, they are very good with him,
there will be about 2 and a half years between finlay and this baby so hopefully he will have a little play mate and will be as close as dylan and tyler x
