| Oh poor little guy! It's hard to tell, I have seen slap cheek before, but because he is so fair, the high temp could very well be the cause of his red cheeks. Maddy would get super red cheeks when she will running a fever too. Just hope he feels better soon. He's so adorable..even when feeling crummy. Hugs. xxx |

| he is teething too char, but he has been so so out of sorts and no matter how high his temp has gone his cheeks have NEVER been like that.....they are still red today but every time the calpol wears out and his temp goes up they get redder so maybe it is that.........very weird though. his cheeks were hotter than his forehead?!
anyway, it was a long night and he is definitely poorly rather than just teething, but in between being grumpy/rashy/hot and tired he is still managing to be a bit cheerful! my instinct says he is ok, and unless it gets worse theres no point in seeing a doctor....just keeping his temp under control and taking it easy : /
still nothing on his body though?! |

| his breathings fine grace, and the calpol every 4 hours seems to be doing enough - just a bit spaced out and clingy but not wheezy, bit sniffly and his temp goes down with the calpol so dont want to bother with ibuprofen too. he ate a bit of soup at lunchtime and managed a few chocolate buttons (of course!) so hopefully it's just a case of waiting it out...... |
