| Well daves mum is taking his sister away for a week 2 say thanks for all the help with dad passing hospital trips and everything else all well and good hope they have a lovely time but y oh y when she knows she is my 1st and only emergency point of call when things start with baby ( My mum is 3 hours away) does she decide it would b a good idea 2 go the week b4 im due and come back the day after
Well I dunno Everything this time round has been just so so different ive got a very sneaky feeling she gonna say fck ya all and turn up early just coz every1 including me thinks she gonna b l8 as well
So what can I do ???? |

| Haha, I never thought Have you not got a sister or close friend that could be there with the kiddies? Was it MILs hubby that passed away? Maybe she just didn't think/had a lot on her mind I don't think she's done it intentionally. It probably sounds a bit insensitive but I think if I was in your mil situation I would have honistly forgotten too. When it's not happening to you yourself it's quite easy to forget. Soz |

| no she knew as she told me ive got to cross my legs till she gets back No my sister lives with mum n dad and no1 I would trust with my babies so i really dont know what to do if it all starts goin while she is away ill have to get my thinking cap on |

| Oh no, how awful! Would your mum or sis be able to drive straight there once you start? I'm sure you'd be ok to take the With you to the hospital til they got there. |

| would your mum or sis be able to come and stay for the week they are away? i know its probably massively inconvenient but might be the best way? |

| Aww, that's a bit of a bummer. I was just thinking could you not see if your mum/ sister could possibly stay for a bit over that week that MIL is away? |

| well my sister just started a new job just b4 xmas so she cant really have the time off I guess I could ask my mum but again no work no pay and it costs her about £80 in oetrol n thats just 1 way oh I dunno will just have 2 c how things go
How long can slow labour b ive been having quite bad braxton hicks 4 a while now but they werent every day but they have been 4 the past few days dave even asked if i should cal the mw at 1 point the last 2 were l8 so surely this 1 will b l8 as well ??? |

| Did your MIL know she was your emergency contact? If so, then that is a bit shity.
I would certainly try and organise another person. Is there no friends close by? I can understand it being hard with your mum/sister being so far away.
