| Hi Ladies, Its Annabelle's 3rd Birthday in a few weeks and aswell as the Innotab I want to get her something for outdoor play in the Garden. She loves being outside and I have nothing for her to play on outside apart from her bike. What, if any, do you all have for your 3rd olds to play on outside. I have been looking at slides, trampolines and Little Tikes stuff. I like the Little Tikes stuff but lots of reviews have said they are difficult to put together and being a Mommy on my own not sure how I would manage that one, although Dan (my 17 year old son) could probably have a go.
Any ideas?
Thanks x |

| Wheelbarrow, gardening tools, sand/water table, hoola hoop, scooter are all good options if you don't want to build something. Slides are usually pretty easy to assemble too. We have a wooden playhouse, but it was hideous to construct and a lot of money for what it was x |

| Hi Sarah, Lily has a sand and water table and it was definitely one of her favourites in the summer. She also has the little tikes house (from ebay) and loves it, it was not that hard to put together as its 4 panels and a roof x |

| eli is a lot younger but we have a little tikes junior activity cube (with the holes and the little slide - probably a bit small for a 3 year old though) we (me and my husband) found it VERY hard to put together - very simple and straightforward, no tools or anything but holy god the pieces were SO tight to put together, at one point me and my husband were jumping up and down on one bit to get it into the hole.....so yeah your 17 year old might need to give you a hand i wonder if it was so hard because it was new? |

| Ellie loves her little tykes slide and her little tykes car, but the car was a nightmare to put together (I watched from a safe distance). We also have a little trampoline. When the weather was good last summer I used to fill a bowl of water and she was happy with that and a few water type toys (watering can and a few cups etc) Ellie loves to play with her pram in the garden |

| At the moment she only has a trampoline and a swing ... but I live really close to a little park which is on the way into town, so we go there to use other things like the slides, bouncers etc
In general though she likes buckets and spades and digging stones, carrying them around, also filling them with water and tipping, watering flowers (anything goes) with her little can. Sweeping. Putting things in the wheelbarrow like mummy (weeding!) You can get little sets with a wheelbarrow, spades etc (Mo got Izzys last birthday!) |

| Thanks all for your ideas. I shall definately be getting a water/sand table, she has one at Daddys but I shall get one too, and then either a trampoline or play house, and a slide. Will have a look on ebay for the house.
Hi Kate, how are you and Lily. Haven't spoken to you for ages xx

| We're eyeing up a trampoline for little man - but that's mainly to try and burn off some of his energy It's strange, I find myself wishing for the age when they can tell us what they want, yet I'm sure when that time comes I'll wish for a simpler time...! |
