| Caitlin has both ears infected again ! First time was 3 days before xmas and she had horrid tonsillitis also. She only finished anti-b's less than 3 weeks ago. Prior to that she had only had anti-b's once in her 2.5 little yrs and that was due to skin infection after h,f&m.
I took her back to Dr last week to double check infection had cleared and it had.... How can they be infected again so quick??? She does have a cold this week that got worse last night and then her temp shot up today. I thought the Dr who checked her over last week was a bit of an arse tbh....
Will she now just get ear infections all the friggin time? She's always been pretty healthy bless her! |

| Does she get water in her ears when she bathes? This happened alot when Matt and Maddy were little..and would often get ear infections or swimmer's ear which would turn into infections. Their little ear canals are all bendy..so it's harder for the water to fall out..can get stuck and fester. Add a cold, some mucus..and it's a never ending cycle. Alot of kids have to get tubes placed in to help in drainage. x |

| Dunno about that, she doesnt submerge herself in the water - either sits or runs about lol, but I do rinse her hair with a jug so I suppose water could get in that way? Had an awful night with her. She ended up in my bed, face and hair covered in snot, sobbing that she didnt like it, wee eyes like pinpricks and coughing until she was wretching . I hope these anti-b's kick in fast! |

| Snoops, my eldest Charlotte suffered with ear infections from been a tiny baby until she was about 10. When she was 10 the gp sent her to get her tonsils out. She never had sn ear infection since. I know it might sound strange taking her tonsils out to cure the ear infections but it did work. Does caitlin ger tonsillitis? Charlotte had both and the gp said it was all linked. She missed so much school due to tonsillitis and ear infections and she used to scream with pain we were constantly calling emergency doctors out. Hope you get it sorted |

| She has had tonsillitis the once penny just before xmas same time as 1st ear infections. They were really badly infected and we thought that we had left them untreated too long (bad mummy didnt realise until her temp shot up) and because of that it travelled to her ears and infected them.
This time though her throat is red but the Dr said she wouldnt say it infected, more just due to having cold/virus. Ears def infected but. I'l keep that in mind about tonsils. The Dr at A&E at xmas said that 2-3 was usually the age kids start having probs with their tonsils and it could be a recoccuring thing - didnt mention the ears/I didnt realise they would keep getting infected.
Jade last time I checked she still had last 4 teeth to get. Il have to try and look in her mouth but no chance of her letting me today, everytime I go near her she thinks im about to shove medicine down her neck bless her! |
