What happens during a pre-op? I have mine tomorrow and they said it lasts 90 minutes.

I think they just check you over to make sure you are fit for surgery and they also take blood to make sure there are no problems, ie infection. I can't remember what else they did to me when I had mine.....hope it goes well hun

Things like blood pressure, might take blood, general health check etc, just to check you're fit for surgery. What date is your op?

Theyve not given me a date. But told memon the phone it will be within the month

At my pre op for c section, it took about an hour and there were lots of questions, there were also blood tests, blood pressure, wee test and they weighed me. Then they gave me drugs to take the night before and the morning of the op and stockings to wear.

But I went into labour a day before and had an emergency, which was lucky for me because I'd forgotten all that they said.
