So...

Cos of the problems Awens having with her mouth shes refusing her dummy atm and we guess either its her tongue or gums its hrting having it in cos most of the time she flat refuses or sucks like twice and spits it out.

Couldnt get her to nap yesterday but after a bit of a battle she went to bed without one last night and when she woke at 11 neil resettled her without one. she wouldnt take one this morning and it took a right battle but got her back for 20 mins. And shes gone for a nap just now and screamed royally when she went in her cot but drifted off to grizzling only in the 5 mins id given myself to go back to her and is now asleep without it albeit snoring fit to bust thanks to her being so snotty

So thats 24 houra without a dummy now reckon it might be time to get rid.

Think we might have a torrid few days for sleep but its done then. Im of the opinion we should just sling em now but neil thinks we should hang onto them for a cpl weeks just wonderig wat the rest of you would do

id be tempted to hide it somewhere and see how she goes, but if she can then that would be great for her and you. worth waiting it out a couple of days and see how you go

Id be slighty cautious about actually throwing them. Amelia refused her dummy all last week cos of the lurgy but as soon as she was feeling better she wanted it back. x

Well its been 6 days now. The first 4 days she didnt want it but also wasnt sleeping as well. The last two nights we have had to give in and give her it at 3am when shes been screaming but shes now settling herself to bed at night without it and sleeping for two hours in the day without it so I can cope with it just being an emergency 3am sleep maker Smile
