Am a little scared to post this in case it buggers things up but we've now had three whole weeks of Jamie sleeping. We still give him a bottle at 10, although our next mission is to phase that out, and then he doesn't tend to wake until about 5.30 and we get up at 6. The earliest his been up is 4 and I can cope with that. He actually seems to like going to bed as well now. He turns himself onto his side as soon as we put him down and is generally asleep before we leave the room. No idea what made the difference. His had the same routine for months. The only thing we've changed is that we watch in the night garden every night now and I refuse to believe that's made this much difference

Great stuff, clever boy. I swear by routine and Ellie's has always involved the bedtime hour, as soon as we've sang "time has come to say goodnight" she knows she's ready to go

I am enjoying it. I'm certainly not deviating from the routine now. We've even bought an itng dvd to watch the two nights a week we get home too late to watch it on tv. We've had a routine in place for months though. Wasn't expecting it to take so long to work

Shouldn't have said it because he woke constantly last night. My sister had him the night before and forgot to bring back his seahorse and teddy so I'm hoping once he has those back then he'll sleep better tonight
