just readin up on a forum post regarding regretting your childs names

curious as to if anyone here regrets the name given to their offspring and why ?

Nope i love my girls names though sometimes it does get frustrating explaining they arent called Kayleigh/Caitlin or Olwen!

Like Kenty I'm annoyed the name I chose is so popular but it doesn't really matter, I love the name Joshua and it really suits him.
I really love the name Imogen Lorelai and never regret chosing it. She's definitely an Immi Smile

I had a wobble about Joshua & found it weird for a few weeks that it was his name forever. Now its normal & I couldnt imagine him being anything else (Well there's still names I prefer eg Alfie/Oliver but then I sort of think they would be a different baby then?) I kinda think whatever you call them (within reason lol) you get used to & love because you love them... the name becomes them/they become the name iykwim???

Read that back and doesnt make much sense but I know what I mean lol!

To be fair I picked it 1st as it was Caitlins boy name Wink

. Have to say though I was a bit annoyed to realise it was number 6 in England last year, though here it was number 15 so not quite as popular!

i dont regret any of my kids names they all suit them :0 )

i read about a girl who called her daughter lucy then just about at her first birthday changed her name by deed poll to jessica as she no longer likd lucy ,, i think thats bonkers ! surely does not take a year to decide och i dont want that name no more !

Nope not at all. only thing i wish paige had a middle name. i like pixi to Jo. but Perry would not allow me to give her a middle name the tosser
