Was at my gp today for a long overdue smear when 17 days since my last period Af arrived again. As if ttc isn't hard enough at the moment without my cycle being all over the show.

I was prescribed noresthistrone to hopefully regulate my cycle. Was wondering had anyone else taken it for the same reason

That's the pill you get given to stop your period from coming for a while. I was given it when I didn't want af to arrive while on holiday, I don't know how it's regulates ypur cycle but I hope it does for you hun!

I was given this like Kell to stop unwanted af on holiday.. 3 tablets a day or something and when you stop taking you come on literally next morning.... try googling see if it has other uses

Hmmm, I have been given it for the exact same reason, to try and regulate my cycle, but that was down in Oxfordshire by my old GP! My new one however said its completely pointless because when you come off it you always have a withdrawal bleed so just takes it back to square one, plus if you were to fall pregnant whilst taking it then its not recommended in pregnancy and you would be taking it for at least two weeks before you even knew you were pregnant if you get what I mean.
I don't know personally I would get a 2nd opinion, but at the same time I don't want to make you feel horrible xx
