if you left the UK what would you miss the most?

Im looking at a website that sells all british stuff and they charge 25 quid delivery but that's whether you have 1 thing or up to 30 kg of stuff!

So im trying to think of all the things I miss from the UK to see if they have them lol.

one of the things I reeeaaaaally miss is proper doughnuts but the bakery opposite me has started doing them no *hooray* and frazzles... which they sell on this site

Maybe British Chinese food It's never the same abroad and fresh milk and cream, as in clotted or double (I can never find it in Cyprus)

Don't think I'd miss anything else that could be bought. I would miss the uk though. I live the seasons (although I moan constantly about the weather) I'd miss the beautif country side and pretty villages. Oh and British pubs.

That was not my total list - I may add to it.

EVERYTHING!! except chavs, and puke in the street.
Seriously, chocolate, it just tastes different abroad. Things like packet sauce mixes, fruit gums, niknaks.. sponge cake.. Sure i'll think of more!

think butteries are a scottish thing , fattening and serious heartburn material but love a hot one with butter nom nom nom

At least you get chocolate. My sister says the stuff in Singapore is disgusting and always stocks up on that and vaseline tins when she comes back (which is not often enough

I think I'd miss marmite. Don't really know what else I wouldn't be able to get abroad. I could happily live on pasta, feta, olives, etc so some countries would suit me down to the ground.

Oh actually that's a lie. I need Dr Pepper Zero or diet cherry coke. Can you get those?

ummm maybe in the english shops (there are err 3 different ones) deffo not cherry coke though.

When I worked abroad mom would often send care package, choc shampoo, marmite, but I was on a tiny Greek island o no Englishness at all.

But I missed fish and chips it's just not the same

Haha it's ok I'm not really going to get anythin, I don't need it the english shops here are pretty good you can request things and they'll try and get them for you.

Tea milk tap water hollands cheese pies

When we lived in Germany there wasn't that many things I missed, probably fish & chips and mushy peas, white bread, walkers crisps....

BUT now that we're over here there are so many German foods I miss, cant win really

we get english tea bags (PG tips, Tetley) erm milk is the same (well I dont notice any different) umm we get frozen holland cheese and onion pies?

we have walkers... well walkers in the english shops or in the cypriot shops they are called Lay's. but Lay's ARE walkers.

ummm we have frozen white bread (can get hovis) but it's mainly one called jacksons if you want proper english style bread otherwise Id go MAD I hate the local bread.

I do miss chippy chips but if you go to a take away or restaurant that make their own chips they are soooooooooooooooo tasty, I think it's the cypriot potato's they have so much flavour!

so we're quite lucky I guess that we can get most things but then Cyprus is a pretty englified (!?) place

Cyprus chips are the bests. The chippys in N Cyprus are as good as english chippys theilk is always uht though.

We get milk from Lamar (Turkish Asda) very occasionally they have fresh pasteurised but usually it's uht.

Just looked at your link, we don't have that we're we go. In fact unless things have changed everything in n Cyprus came in via turkey. Maybe when I'm there I pop into yours for a brew??
