| Hi ladies,
Well i am hoping to do the spare room up for Noah in August, as his little toddler room. But what sort of decor do you think i should go for?
His room at the mo is the jungle theme which is babyish and be fine for next baby.
I am looking at a fun boyish theme.
What is LO'S decor like.

| Joshua's room is a bit boring at the moment. It's cream with a lightish blue with red and navy polka dot blind. We have a couple of canvases up with minis on. We've also got a couple of red shelves up so theme is kind of red and blue. My original plan was to stencil some minis around the room but not got round to it and Matt has decided to sell his mini and forget about his mini obsession now so not sure whether to bother. We've been talking about it this week and Matt still wants to stick with the mini/car theme but I want to get rid of the red and bring some green in and make it a dinosaur theme.
Sorry that was no help!
It seems for boys the main themes are cars, dinosaurs, football or space. Next have some great things for boys rooms actually... www.next.co.uk/homeware/boys-bedroom/
I will probably get things from there when i properly do up Joshua's room. |

| Drew's room is blue, Pirate themed. George Pig pirate not scary arrrgh pirates. He has wall stickers, curtains, the duvet set and a rug of George Pig pirate. He also has glow in the dark sticker stars on his ceiling to look at as he is falling asleep. MJ's room is butterflies, fairies and princesses. Very pink, very girly. It was going to be Hello Kitty for her room but she's decided she wants to share the butterfly room with Millie-Boo xxx |

| Lucas is Disney stickers at moment, Disney clubhouse, toys 3 and cars, we are not allowed to decorate :-(
When rich was little he had half blue half green (sky/land), I brought bob the builder and Thomas stickers so looked like a huge outdoor scene.
As he got older his next room was space
Now it's union jack |

| If you want something long term, better to go with a standard boy theme rather than character anyway.
I love these.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Childrens-Boys-Bedroom-Blue-Red-Yellow-Rocket-3-Way-Ceiling-Spot-Light-Spotlight-/320831587516?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Lighting_Lamps_Lighting_SM&hash=item4ab30d84bc
wasn't really considering space theme but these are too cute.
the dunelm mill stuff is really cute too. I like the car theme they do.
When you finish the room put some pics up as i'd love to see and get some inspiration. |
