i went for my 20 week scan 2day everything was ok we couldn't find out the sex has it would not open its legs, so of course im happy that everything is ok but i saw the consultant after and she wasn't happy with my weight gain and to be honest neither am i, i hadn't realized id put that much on my clothes still all fit me and i don't feel any different ive put 1 and 1/2 stone on while being pregnant and im only 1/2 way, i was already big anyway so don't need the extra weight, i find it really hard to lose weight but feel i need to try even though im pregnant, its just making me feel so down today i feel like a whale

it is much harder to watch your weight when your pregnant cos most of the time u need to eat what u fancy and when u fancy it to avoid nausea! im quite lucky as ive been cravinf fruit alot but sometimes all i want to do is eat no matter what it is!! stay strong and just think of your happy healthy baby! x x

Sorry the consultant made you sad, but so glad to hear the baby is doing well! If they are concerned about things they should be pulling their fingers out and giving you what you need to help. I've heard that pregnant women can go on the sliming world diet and that it is reccomended by the midwifery Council to do so. It might be worth asking about it? Hope your feeling a bit better today!
