...that the last day of the Christmas term next year is Jamie's birthday so I'll be at work until at least 2 I thought with his birthday being so close to Christmas (21st) that we'd avoid that. Am a little sad because he understood what was going on this year in this sense he knew what a present was and how to open it but he will more so next year

maybe you could leave the present opening til you are home? im sure he wont mind! Its horrible having to work his birthday but at least its only half a day? xx

Yeah that's probably what we'll do. I think Adam will take the day off but it just means we can't go out somewhere because it will be 3 by the time I get back

I've arranged my maternity/holiday so I'm not working Lucas first birthday. Must admit its easier to work when they have to go to school on their birthday
