You'd think after first putting our flat on the market in 2007 I would have learnt but no. We're thinking about putting our flat back on the market as the estate agent phoned us and said things have picked up. We've also done some work on it. We need to get it valued (with a different estate agent as ours are rubbish). We also need to find out if we can still get a reasonable mortgage as we're paying out for childcare. However, I was looking at houses on rightmove today to see what was available and have found two I love (bearing in mind our restrained budget, etc). Now I just want to be able to move and we won't even be seeing the estate agent for at least a month as we won't do it until we come back from holiday. Even then I'm not hopeful about selling it.

I am a strong believer in things happening for a reason - if one of our buyers hadn't pulled out on exchange day we'd be living in an area which would mean using a more expensive nursery run by strangers and my parents wouldn't be able to help - but I am starting to lose faith a bit. Wish I hadn't looked now

Oh what a pain you can't have a look about now. I hope you manage to see when you do get round to having it on the market!

Aw Hun is there anyway you could do it sooner? I'm a sucker for looking on right move. At least you haven't moved to a more expensive area. Like you say things happen for a reason. Could be that this is your time to move xx

Not really because we're not around in the week so it would have to be at the weekend. We only have one of those left before we go away and then we're away for three weeks. Also Mum and Dad are going to do some work on the flat while we're away.

Its never bothered me before. Whenever our buyers have pulled out (or died in the case of one), even the one on exchange day, I was actually quite pleased as I didn't really want to move. However, we do really need to now, especially if we want another child. We could fit one in (and in some ways it would be better to be in the flat while I was off) but it wouldn't be ideal
