| He won't necessarily have it. Some people have a natural immunity. I have never had it despite both my sisters getting it twice.
If he does get it then its likely to be before he goes to school if his in nursery or pre school. If he misses it at that point then he may well miss it altogether as pretty much everyone I know who has had it has had it by that point |

| Bethany got it when she was 12 months old & she got it from nursery. You probably won't want hear this but it is probably better if noah gets it sooner rather than later xx |

| I had them when i was four. Sophia yet to get them despite it going around the nursery. Kinda want her to have them, just to get one childhood illness outta the way really. Sorry if that sounds mean.

| Megan has just had it. She had a very mild case of it though so wasn't poorly at all, although she did catch a sickness bug at the same time but that only lasted 24 hours. Its not always as bad as you think xx |

| Imogen is yet to have it - she seems to keep dodging it at nursery. OH has never had it, reportedly; though I wouldn't be surprised if he did really also mil has just forgotten. I had a really nasty case while I was at infant school. I had a boyfriend who caught them off his niece ages 21! My nephew had a really mild case before he was 2 - turned out not to be enough to develop immunity and he had them again much worse age 4. My sister had them plush shingles at the same time in her late teens and literally lost use if her legs- usually only happens in the elderly I understand. It would definitely be good to get them out if the way earlier, but I wouldn't go to a pix party and do it on purpose, I'd feel too mean. |
