Hiya, I was hoping you could share your experiences of the various slings you've tried - which was it, could you feed using it, was it easy to use / comfortable etc???

I had a Baby Bjorn for Imogen but never got the use out of it - when she was small I felt like she was too hunched up to be healthy; I couldn't see what I was doing if I wore it around the house and there was no way of feeding in it. When she was bigger it was still a faff to get on and off; the posture was all wrong and she felt to heavy to carry far in it (a big shop at the supermarket was too much).

So this time I quite fancy a slingumything - you know the kind where you strap your baby on in a snuggly position, feeding is optional, they get a nice mummy bond and you get your hands free without breaking your back.

Does such a thing actually exist? Discuss........

I also had the baby bjorn and didnt get on with it, very uncomfy and baby always at wrong height.

Have just bought the close parent baby sling. Am yet to use it with a real baby as still have two weeks to go but all that i know that have one love it! I tried it with Sophia's dolly though and feels really comfy and quite easy to wear, very close position to that of being pregnant! Really close to body and does have a fairly easy to get into breast fedidng position. Will let you know how it is with a real baby in the next few weeks! Quite a lot at £60 but i think the babybjorn we had was more. I got mine on ebay though for £30.

I've just bought one off Lisa, a Herbal Baybee ring sling, so she ay be a good person o ask, I've tried it on and seems ok, but obviously won't know until baby is here x
