i spent yesterday clearing out my walk in under the stairs cupboard , in my house this is the cupboard you throw everything and anything in and forget about it and open the door only for throwing things in lol !
so i got rid of stuff yesterday on freecycle i got a boot full of crap to the dump this morning and a bootfull of stuff up the charity shop this afternoon my problem being when dropping stuff in the charity shop i seen a woman there who is well known for raiding the charity shops and then going to every bootsale in the area and selling things for god knows how much more !
i remember one day i was doing a boot sale and she bought a few things from me ( i never knew who she was then ) i left OH dealing with our table and went for a walk around and found her reselling my stuff for profit
I know there is no law against this blah blah blah but i really find it bad form especially when she takes the prices down as low as she can in charity shops ( for our local charities ) and makes a profit !!
anyways ,,, by time i walked into shop and said i have donations it was too late i then clocked her and she had clocked the vtech tree and fisherprice chair i was carrying i couldn't walk out again ,
I said to OH i put money on if i went into town to the saturday market she would be there tree and chair for sale

i know i have bought things on sale and resold them on ebay for profit but this woman really does *$%£ me right off more so as its all local charities hence why i put all donations to this shop

That is disgusting. She is taking advantage!
Some people have no choice but to get things in charity shops and she is taking that away from them
I get things in charity shops - Mainly records or books. I will buy something in a charity shop at least once a week. Whether I need the item or not. The money benefits those in need.
That woman needs a slap! Yes, times are hard but that does not excuse taking advantage of people xx

I think re selling form ebay is alot different to reselling from a charity shop x
