| I'm doing a piece of coursework looking into different degrees that might interest me other than midwifery.
Anyway I was thinking along the lines of embryology, turns out u have to get a degree in life sciences of some sort before training to do that.
The mad thing to me is that I can easily get onto a molecular biology and genetics degree, but the entry requirements for midwifery are alot higher! |

| Sorry Mandy didn't mean to worry you  I'm guessing it was just an off day, altho I don't feel great I've no swelling and the headache is much less! Must have over done it at the weekend maybe. |

| I've been to the doctors today and been given some medicine and told to rest as bp is up due to the cough! Grr

| Maybe the requirements for midwifery are higher as it's more of an actual career training and is hands on etc whereas a degree in genetics is just teaching you about genetics it's not leading you into a career - obviously it would enable you to do certain jobs but it's not the same... ummm not sure if I'm saying what I mean lol midwifery is more like an apprenticeship than the degree  Make sure you listen to the docs and rest x |
