But then it is Philips birthday weekend so could it have been for him

We've watched the concert and thought it was good. Only down side - surely Gary Barlow could have dueted with someone better than Cheryl??
John looked puzzled when Stevie Wonder and Will.i.am sang Happy Birthday but I can see why they would sing it as this is her "official" birthday?? Real birthday is April. She has two Birthday's a year.

I'm totally confused then..its not her birthday right? But the Queens coronation was 1953...would it not be 60yrs (Diamond Jubilee) next year in 2013? Am I being a bit dim and missing something?

No it's 60 years she's been queen but it took them a year to do the actual coronation,so thats what they're celebrating

Yeah she has her real one in April and her official one I think is 16th June, but the point is it wasn't a birthday concert it was a jubilee one so a tad inappropriate!
