| What do you enjoy?
For my 30th Matt took me to London we went on a wine tasting tour at Vinopalis which was quite fun and got quite pissed, then went to see a show and stayed in a hotel fir the night, I really enjoyed it,
Would you prefer something relaxing or action packed? Something as a couple, family or as a group? What's your budget? |

I'm thinking something like centre parcs just us 5 with a nice dinner thrown in. Budget dunno really not thought that far ahead couple of hundred maybe :0/ |

| Hmmm tough one, could nobhead not have the older two for you and that just leaves hayden for in laws or rents to watch for the night while you go away for the night. Mandy's 30th sounds like it was a fab night, I'd got for something like that |

| I would have said a few days away in London, just you and OH. If your parents had notice could this not be there present to you to mind the kiddies for a few days? Or go really wild and have an action packed day at alton towers or something...just so you can forget that you've hit the big 40!! |

| My parents really are crap. Seriously they have my sisters 3 children all the time and I mean at least 4 times a week! I've asked and been let down at last minute so haven't ever bothered relying on them again. My mums words about my sister " if we let her down she'll have a tantrum" We both have 3 kids I really don't see the difference. James parents wouldn't know where to start lol. They also like a good drink and I just can't entrust them with my most treasured possessions! Perhaps a takeaway and a film indoors may be a better idea lol |

| Oh you gotta do something special chick! Only turn 40 once...go somewhere for sure and if you have to take the kids, so many places provide family suites so you an OH can have some alone time to pop the champagne cork another other things too! Or..throw a big ol BBQ yard party with music/ tent/patio lanterns have all your guests bring some food items and booze..and and hire a sitter to help out with the night and next morning so you can enjoy your own party without having to fight a hangover the next day. No indoor wall flower night for you chick! xxx |
