Hi all, thought I'd tell you how miss Tamsyn Rose arrived.
Well yesterday I didn't sleep as Lucas had been up most of the night and russ had said I could lie in, so I did all the night wakes. Well from 7am he came in with us and I finished my book, started to think, oh bh every 10mins but dull. Then at 9 I realised they were coming every 5mins, by 930 they were every 3mins, woke up russ, had a shower, which was freezing, called hosp and they wanted me to get checked, but they were not lasting long.
Dropped boys with bro and sil and headed to hosp, in the car they were lasting longer and still every 3 mins.
Ot monitored and they were ok every 3 mins still and then student mw checked me out and said I was 3 cm dilated and to go for a walk for 2 hrs this was 1130, pop to cafe and by 1, I needed to go back, now a min apart and getting stronger, went to room and by 130 I told russ to get someone as I wanted to push and also needed something other than gripping a bin... For the pain.
Got checked I was 8cm dilated, didn't see student mw again. This was 140 at 258 I pushed and waters went, at 300 I pushed, head out and 302 third and last push and she was born. Weighing in 7lb 13oz
She was blue and covered in mucus but still gorgeous, I ended up with 2 tiny stitches, which after 2 second degree tears I was impressed and all that on gas and air.
She had swallowed some mucus and 9pm was apparently a bit late to go home, so we had to stay, The boys just met her and appear ok, she's drinking ok but I will be glad for my bed as I didn't sleep, she did.
So she's here and my family is complete :-)
