| Who meeeeeeee? I will write a reply while I have chance (haha does that answer the question? ), his naps are going much better but bedtime is still at least 11.30pm Napping in the afternoon is ok - either he naps for two hours which is amazing, or he refuses to sleep/sleeps for 20 minutes then is soooo grumpy (e.g last night he missed his nap and snoozed in his pram cos I had to go out with him, and then he fed/cried from 7pm til finally sleeping at midnight ) Anyway, thank you for asking! How is your drug habit? |

| I'm really tired yeah, bed is usually 12 (for him, and me if I am ready), then up at about 3am, and 5/5.30 am then up for real at 8.30. I didn't really have any plans about bf but I would like to carry on til he has teeth haha, we did start giving formula at night to try and fill him up and send him off to sleep, but it made no difference except for making him constipated so that wasn't too good. Sorry to see little Alfie is poorly sounds like you are having a really horrible time of it - we can both be sleep deprived zombies! |

| Yeah ii feel so sorry for him! He had a rash y'day so i had to take him to Walk In Centre and they said hes got a virus. But today its all over his body. Luckily hes sleeping through the night still. He went down 7.30 last night and got up at 7.45 this morning - i brought him back into bed with me and he slept till 9.15.
Its not too bad if hes only waking up twice. I really dunno how u do it. I wud just be so tempted to stop bf so he sleeps longer by your stage lol!! *pat on back for mari!* |

| Haha I'm stubborn that's all - I wasn't even that bothered about bf before I had him but it seems like a bit of a waste not to carry on now I'm also not really convinced formula would help him sleep more either Poor little Alfie! I hope he's feeling better today after having a big rest, it must be really horrible - is he still coughing too? You must both be miserable! |

| His cough has gone now. Its just the rash, temperature and general twistyness. He is alot better in himself today tho. Ive had a few smiles from him. He just looks at me with this little helpless look on his face and i just melt. Weve had loads of cuddles in bed to make him feel better!!!
He slept for over 2 hrs today which is not like him at all!!
I wasnt too bothered about bf either and then when i had him that was it. I was gutted when i stopped. I cried for ages. I wish i could have lasted a few weeks more - but it wasnt to be! I wud deffo keep on - plus its free!! And u dont haver to think about sterlising bloody bottles every night - grrr does my head in!

| Aww I hope he's even better today, Eli has been sleeping/grumping quite a bit but I think that it's tooth related I think when we got thrush for the 3rd time and I had sworn if we got it again I would stop bf I realised how much it meant to me - I was really upset at the reality of stopping so I will hang on as long as it's comfy for me and him (though I'm running out of space to put his legs when he's feeding) I can't really even be arsed sterilising two bottles a day haha so if we ever need one we have to run off and do it usually. Does Alfie still have loads of bottles? I don't really know about feeding... It's awful when little babies just look up at you and you can't do anything, when Elijah used to get really sore tummies he would look at you with his bottom lip sticking out and I just felt so so sorry for him |

| Oh my god, Elijah went to bed at 9 last night and was only up at 10 and 3 for feeds amazing haha I had to get him up at 8 to feed him before I went out and apparently he went back to sleep for an hour! The most optimistic part of me has decided 9pm is bedtime now haha That's great that Alfie is back to himself, that's quite a lot to eat! But having said that I could eat it easily I'm hoping to leave weaning as late as possible, hubby would like to get started but I think once the novelty wears off we can't go back to just milk and Elijah seems pretty happy and satisfied just now and (when he isn't too excited to actually fall asleep) sleeps quite well so I reckon I will just leave it for now I'm also putting off having to learn another new thing and weaning looks complicated! |

| Yeah it is quite hard and confusing. Im more worried about feeding him too much and giving him bad tummy!! But i guess that if he has eaten too much he would be sick. Its confusing when to up his portions etc and when to cut down on milk. The only reason i weaned was cos alfie started drinking 9oz every 2-3 hrs and started getting up during the night!!
Wow thats really good! I bet u didnt know what to do with ureself ha. Just wait till hes sleeping through -youll still get tired. I sleep for about 9 hrs and im still exhausted!

| Yeah, I've started reading about weaning a bit after seeing you and a few other people talking about it - it sounds like food algebra! I'm all for procrastinating It's weird but sometimes I feel more tired if I have a bit more sleep, like my body remembers what its been missing, I think you have some hormonal thing that keeps you going when you are really really tired, that doesn't work if you have enough sleep.... Hmmmmm 9 hours, god, when I was pregnant I slept about 16 hours a day |
