No we don't, if she doesn't eat her dinner then she has to go to bed hungry (bad parents!!!), although for the last couple of months she has been having a cup of Nesquik before bed. xx

i give callum dinner at 6ish its quite late compared to some thats proper dinner rather then at lunchtime i thoguht the latter they have it the better but appantley u should leave a 2hr gap between dinner n bedtime because can give them boost of eneergy and make it harder for them to sleep whether thats true or not x i notice when callum has dinner after an hour or so hes hungary again thats after dinner n desert i just give him a biscuit xx

the kids have dinner at 5 and lily-ann has a little fromage frais before she goes up to bed, but that's cos we pop her meds in...some night they will both have a yogurt if they've not had a big dinner, but if it's a full big meal they go to bed with nothing else except the bedtime bottle of milk

I was going to ask this same question the other week. I wasn't really brought up with supper before bed. We have our tea anytime between 5-6pm, but with Oliver playing up with his eating - not eating much, I have on occasion offered either weetabix/ready brek (only a tiny bit) before he goes for a wash etc or if he's eaten ok'ish I offer a rusk with his milk. He's always been a good sleeper, until recently he was waking at 6/7am again starving hungry - so this supper does see him through a bit longer till 8 and even 9am
