hubby bought Elijah a giraffe and I wondered if I could wash it - he has already had half of it's face in his mouth, and has spent most of the afternoon happily sucking his ears (bless!) so it's probably too late really, but there's no washing tag on it...it's a soft toy, am I likely to knacker it if I wash it at 40c?

You can hand wash it in a mild soap and let it air dry. Or just take a cloth and spot clean it. When it dries spray it with lysol and let it dry. xxx

I keep forgetting you guys have different names for the same product. LOL! It's that spray on disinfectant. You can spray pretty much anything with it, if he likes to put stuff in his mouth..just give it another wipe first before handing it back to him. xxx

If I wash anything like that and I am not sure, I put it in a pillow case and wash it on a delicate wash xx

thanks ladies! Hubby gave it an improvised handwash with some non-bio powder yesterday then a rinse in the shower haha it smells a bit better - I might chuck it on a delicate wash later (cos he threw up so much last night I got really paranoid!) and hope the fluff doesn't re-settle in a weird way
