| Imogen has come up in a rash and i'm not sure what it is or what i should do? I can't get a drs appointment and i don't want to go to a&e if it's nothing serious She's been a bit under the weather for the last few days, sick once, diarrhea, slight temperature, generally under the weather and yesterday she woke up from her nap absolutely soaking wet from sweat. And now the rash.. here's some pics as i didn't know how to describe it... Sorry not the best quality but she couldn't sit still. It's a lot redder than the pic shows and all over her front, back and arms. What do you think could be wrong? She'd had a new bubble bath recently but last night was the 3rd time we've used it and no rash before, and the rash is getting worse and we haven't used bubble bath today. I can't think of anything else different she'd had. thanks in advance if you've got any advice xx |

| Awww poor little chicken, hope she is ok soon. It certainly doesn't look like anything sinister but have you tried the tumbler test?? It could be a viral infection with the other symptoms too and this is another way the infection if coming out of her. Perhaps give NHS direct a call and see what they say. xx |

| Alfies just had a viral infection and his rash looked quite similar to Immis. Stretch out the skin and if the marks disappear then its nothing too bad (thats what the doc told me). Also, her symptoms were quite like alfies too. He had temperature, sickness and diarreah, sleepiness, excessive sweating.
If in doube ring NHS direct and they will give u details for a WIC centre u can take her that will deal with children.

| Thanks ladies. I called NHS and they've advised taking her to a walk in centre as the rash is spreading. So we'll be off there when Matt gets back from work, which is hopefully soon.xx |
