| i thought you meant the fish at first. i would say it depends on him and his maturity level/ fear level factors like that. i know mara lets her tom play on games like this but he is a sensible lad and she doesnt worry that it might affect him pschologically. sorry doesnt help much, but depends on the child |

| oh, p.s I wouldn't go for it, there must be less violent/aggressive things out there for a 9 year old! (hubby informed me what you were talking about ) |

| Hi
my 13 year old plays it and so do all of his friends. I've never actually seen it but some of my sons friends dad play it too and said it's ok. But these are 13 year olds so it's a bit different. |

| It's a war game..and it's pretty realistic as far as war games go. I think if allowed to play, I think it's important to maybe have a discussion about war, and that real people fought and died for our countries - just like in the game. I think just watching the evening news broadcasts are more graphic as far as content. xxx |

| Hi hun, my nephew played it when he was 9 but to be quite honest with you, he also had two uncles out there fighting for the country in Iraq/Afghanistan, so he was already spoken to about the war in Afghanistan and the difference between that and a video game. He is though and always has been very mature for his age. I think its upto the individual parents and what they think xx |

| My OH plays it and says if its played on a pc its quite well policed eg swearing but if its on PS3 its not so well policed. He says he would let C play it at 9 if she wanted to but it depends on the child. I think if it was me i'd also discuss violence and fighting in general with any young child wanting to play a game like that particularly in light of the effects of violence i see |

| Xbox isnt policed AT ALL - the swearing is stupid and i don't believe for one minute the kids (you can tell they are primary school age) are supervised cos no parent would let their kid say those things
I wouldn't let a child under 13 play it live on xbox for that reason |
