I don't mind them but I do think it should be ONLY on 5th November and organised displays only - they should not be sold to the general public (IMO anyway), we have had them go off now for 3 nights and no doubt will do for the next week at least. I just do not see the point in them!!!! Also it's so unfair to animals, they have absolutely no idea what is going on and the fireworks are so loud it sounds like there is a war going on!!! So what do you guys think to them??? xx

I HATE them with a passion, they are explosives FFS. they scare animals, old folk and can be really annoying when dumnb ass chavs let them off until stupid o clock. Also, its an out dated and pointless celebration. Poor fire brigade also have calls out to amoeba's who have no sense of safety or even enjoy setting things ablaze. A&E also see the effects of stupidity and carelessness

. . . . . and another thing. This country is on constant alert from terrorism and bombs (fair enough) yet anybody over 18 can go and buy fireworks, which are explosives and no-one batters an eyelid about that

I completely agree Leah - that's why I think it should be organised events only and maybe have to produce a licence to buy them? xx

I too think its bad that they are for sale EVERYWEHERE - even corner shops and supermarkets Just like kids can buy cigs...they can buy these at the price places! I think it would be sad if they were banned all year though as they are lovely to have at weddings and proper displays etc, yet the licensing thing could allow for this!

Hate them hate them hate them hate them. Is that too ambiguous? I also disagree with sale to the general public but then im all for people taking tests before they breed. It means the lowest common denominator can get their hands on bog roll tubes stuffed with explosives and set fire to em while trying to elevate their IQ high enough to find their ass with their right hand for a good scratch. Should be for sale to licenced venues only, id only ever take c to an organised display id never go to a backyard one

I hate them, my poor dog is terrified and quivers everytime she hears a bang. People were setting them off at the weekend and ava kept waking up. I think they should only be allowed at organised events.

| I hated them as a child as they scared me.
I also agree that they shouldn't be sold everywhere to anyone (although I'm going to some pretty fountain ones for oh to light in the garden later).
I love them at new year and we had them at our wedding, they went off as we cut the cake they were fab as only oh and I new about them, so they were a suprise for the guests. |

I'd ban them for all but organised, licenced displays. My poor animals go to hell and back every time they here a firework.

I couldnt agree more Susan, they are my thoughts exactly. Having animals is a nightmare. If you know what night they are going to be on, then you can prepare for it and keep your animals safe. But, they seem to go off for a month! x
