I just went to Asda to get nappies and something for dinner.

As a treat, I got my OH a bottle of bubbly. I got to the till, and the lady on the counter said 'aww, is that for when you are celebrating the birth?'

I replied with 'oh no, it wont last that long'

I realised how it had sounded and then tried to explain that it was for my husband... then realised that I didnt have my wedding ring on because my fingers were too fat this morning!

She prob thought I was a right liar, lol! Its not like I can even stand the stuff! x

i got asked for ID when pg with son when i brought a bottle of wine for my parents wedding anniversary present. she then turned to my mom who was with me and said it must have been a shock, to which i informed her i was 23...

I really hate buying alcohol when pregnant, even though I know im not drinking it, I always think that people are looking down on me.

My OH can get it himself from now on! x

When I was PG with Harry we had a BBQ and needed some booze for my none PG friends so we went to Tesco and all got ID'd and because I was paying and had a big bump the assistant gave me a right dirty look, so I said "Do I look like I'm gonna be drinking all this?" and she just shrugged, cheeky mere!! xx

LMAO..when I was heavily pregnant with Maky in the summer..I was sent off to the liquor store to pick up the booze for everyone else for a BBQ we were invited to..had flat of beer..vodka coolers..26 oz of rum..etc..also was asked to pick up a pack of cigarettes...you can well imagine the looks of disgust from the other customers as well as the cashier. xxx
