He told me he that even though he loves me loads, he doesn't think I love him anymore. He thinks I'm using him to keep a roof over my head and have a live in babysitter (this comment annoyed me as I don't go out anywhere but work and its his baby too!!) The thing is, I do love him, more than I've ever loved anyone, and I don't know what to do to make him realise this, he won't open up to me anymore as he thinks I don't care

This happened to me and my OH there are some steps but it requires you both to talk:

1. You need to find out why he feels like this?!

2. You need to be honest with yourself is there any reason why he feels this.

3. As you have a son the parental responsibilities should be shared (we can all dream)

4. Figure out between yourselves why or where it went "wrong"

It is a hard talk to have and requires alot of honesty and sometimes hurtful truths but you both need to talk.

My OH goes through little periods like this.

I make extra effort to tell him out much I love him and make sure he knows.

It is hard, but try not to take it personally, he may just be having a few off days xx

I know how you feel. My OH turned round last night and told me he's going to stop telling me he loves me cause it's wearing thin. He said that my reaction to him saying i love you is always brushed off like whatever. I don't know how to get it through to him either but good luck in trying hun. Sorry i can't help

Write him a letter explain how you feel. If talking don't help.

Me and russ have a sickening relationship we are very close, but we have to wprk at it.
We do send texts saying love you, we will call through the day.
Maybe he needs to feel wanted, by you for mote than beong a dad, he just needs reminding how much you need him for you

I've been through this also.

I agree you both need to talk about it, why he feels this way, whats different? whats changed for him to feel that way?
You also need to have your say. both of you need to put everything out on the table, talk everything through and then you'll be able to move forward!

I'm sure the conversation will be difficult but if it doesn't happen you'll both end up resenting each other and thats the last thing you want.

Just an update for all you lovely ladies who replied, we kinda had a talk, and he said he thinks we should just work at our relationship, and hes been very very very cuddly lately, and we're being very intimate (in a non sexual way lol) in ways of talking and just being a couple. So I think we are doing a lot better, thankyou for your replies and advice it helped a lot xxxxxxxx
