u know when the kids are sleeping or out playing and u have the house so quiet and to your self... when ur not doing house work etc... what do u do?? i never noticed till it was pointed out to me but i sit in the quiet. no tv on and usually just the lap top sat beside me.. flicking away reading thru stuff or spamming FB or forums ?? mostly i just sit there and drift off to a la la land...

am i weird ? obviously if kids out the back i can hear them but there semi tuned out if that makes sense ?? do u ever just sit and listen to the quiet??

i generally have my lappy next to me and catch up on my programmes and enjoy the peace x

I always sit in the quiet, it's about the only time I get the chance, once Matt's in the telly or radio is always on. It's completely silent in my house at the moment, bliss!

sometimes ill put the volume down on tv and sit in quiet but there are always loads of kids running by or coming in and out ! x

i have a rule.. ur either in or ur out! really annoys me when they slam doors and running up and down stairs for no reason and dragging 10 kids behind them... literally 10 kids!!! i went up stairs to see what all the banging was about and garry had half the street and the next street along in his room jumping off the bunk beds!!!!!!!

Lol..Laura, My mum used to say the same. I got..'your either in or out, its not a bl**dy hotel ya know!!'..no doubt I will be when Ollie grows up.

I don't have the computer on whilst Moo's awake..its actually not possible
So once he's in bed, all the jobs get done and its quiet time...litrally. Not a sound, the lappy comes on..bliss.

Untill OH wakes up and mopes around as per, usually cursing at the tv.

I have quiet whenever I can get it. OH has the radio on and it drives me mad but when it is just me and my dogs it is quiet and I just sit with the lappy and talk to you lot.

oh god iv turned into my mother! she used to say that to us too!

I normally watch tv if theres something on or catch up on here and fb xx
