http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Aqua-Pod/dp/B0011EZ9WS/sr=1-2/qid=1285844902/ref=sr_1_2/279-7919638-9141561?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42855041&mcb=core not that exact one cos it's bloody expensive! But I'm sure I have seen others that are similar? Elijah is still sometimes using his baby bath (flexi bath that's meant to do him to 4 years, har har) but prefers the big bath where he can splash....we have been using a bath bouncer chair but he has taken to trying to escape and bounce himself off...I think he will be sitting very soon so is that thing ^ worth a go? Or do you just hold your little ones?

No I don't but it looks good. I wish i'd put Immi in something like that cause as soon as she got to 8months she was pulling herself up on the side of the bath or crawling around and slipping and it was a nightmare. Still is really altho she's starting to get into playing with bath toys. I keep looking at those things at thinking they look great but its too late for Immi she'd had a fit if i put her in one now.

Thomas had this one: http://direct.asda.com/Safety-First-Swivel-Bath-Seat/002659190,default,pd.html He was ok in it but even when he was sitting unaided at 6 months he used to slip forward in it and squish his little boy bits . He used to get red marks on his thighs too from it pressing on him and was difficult to get him out when he was slippy and wet. The aqua pod looks better for the getting in and out issue but what would worry me about it is the lack of support around the back and sides. He could quite easily slip back or sideways even at 6 months and sitting alone and once he is completely steady enough not to you wont even need it. You will end up having to keep a hold on him anyway so a bit of a waste of time tbh. And apart from that - have you seen that price! xx

Ooh that doesn't sound comfy, sounds like a couple of people had the same problem...I think mummy's back will just have to suffer and Eli can have a big boy bath

Amelia had an aqua pod and it was great for us. She wanted to sit in the bath but couldn't support herself but this meant that I had my hands free and she could splash till her heart was content. Once she could sit unaided I took the seat part away and just used the bath mat part. We still use it. She didn't have any problem slipping forward in hers but then she's a girly and a boy may be different.

hmmm well I would quite like Elijah to still have his penis by toddlerhood so maybe the swivel one needs to be avoided - maybe the pod one doesn't catch in the same way? hmm

one of us used to get in with tyler until he started crawling and was strong enough to sit up without us worrying he would slip... we have bath mats in the bath and he's fine.
