| Ok ladies i have mw this afternoon, i am 39+5 and i am unsure of whether she will offer a sweep. the thing is Adam is poorly and has phoned in sick at work today (not like him at all) SO if she offers me a sweep do i have it (i want this baby out badly) or do i say no cos Adam is less that useless when he is ill and it will annoy me that he is feeling sorry for himself. you have 2 hours to help me decide |

| OMG Jo, how fast has your pregnancy gone!! Edith obviously isn't in as much a rush to get out as Alice was!! My Midwife wouldn't do one until I was 41 weeks. I had one at 41+2 by Midwife, then 41+3 by Midwife at Hosp when I went into be assessed. I then went in to be induced at 41+4, so I don't know if it would have worked or not but the Midwife at hosp said she thinks had I not been induced on that day I would have gone myself. Good luck xx |

| I would go for it too. I would get narked if James was ill, as he would be useless, but I think by over 39 weeks I would be done and ready for a sweep x |

| Thats exactly how i feel about Adam, he is ill and i should be more sympathetic but grrr, he mardi feel sorry for himself face is pissing me right off now, i would be even worse if i was in labour!
i know there is a chance it wont work anyway but i am done with being pregnant now.
i have just found out that my tosser ex's girlfriend who is due on the 3rd is in labour and its not fair!!!!!!!!!!!
although she has been having contractions all night and they are not getting closer together but i am still jealous that she is in labour! |

| I would definitely go for it - unless your oh has a proper illness, if it's just 'unwell' I'm sure he will snap out of it if you go into labour haha plus it generally takes a while to work (although is that true of second babies???) |

| I don't think you'll have too much waiting to do Jo! Remember us all moaning that we hadn't had any signs that labour was imminent? Well in the next breath Alice had arrived! She certainly didn't hang about and took us all by suprise!
I can't wait to see pics of little Edith and hear your birth story!!! xxx |
