i friggin hate money we are cancelling the wedding
we cant raise about 900+ by February! with ian going bank rupt ect
so i have to phone the places tomoz and cancel it all :'(

Oh no Char are you sure there's no way? Nothing you can ebay at all? I hope you can think of something? Is there anything that you can cut out of the wedding that will save you that money, eg expensive flowers/cake of photgrapher? x

i have nothing to sell as sold it all ages ago to get food ect i cant think of anythin my flowers was gettin from sis photographer was friends mum but just cant afford it hayho can keep dreamin ahy

if i was u I'd still get married, even if it's wearing trackie bottoms and wellies followed by a cippy tea! That way you'd have something to look forward to. And then in 5 or 10 years when your in a better financial position you can have a blessing!

Aww no huni How about you and Ian have a small registry do with only a handful of people then go back to yours for a buffet type thing then in a few years when you've got the money saved up you can have a church and full on do, I know the church will only be a blessing but you can still wear a wedding dress, it might be something you could think about?

I've still got some things here for you huni that you can have and with us moving soon there's a good chance I'll find some more bits you can have. Have got 10 ivory disposable wedding cameras from Confetti I found the other day if you want them you can have them as well :0) (we were going to put one on each table to get a guests persective of our wedding, they then leave the cameras on the tables for us to develop but the place we held our wedding breakfast provided theirs to us as part of the platinum package we had so never used the ones we'd bought) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

if you have your heart set on getting married hun then do it ,,,, stuff everyone ,, only invite your nearest and dearest you could do it very cheap x x x

aww, if I were you I would get him down the registry office, £110 and 20 minutes, nevermind all the big stuff, you can have a party when money looks better

Char - the more low key the more romantic i feel.... I have a white headdress and satin shoes (think a 6) here and possibly a veil.. I just gave my dress to a young lad doing a run for charity but if you want the bits please let me know xx

I've not read through all the posts but why not speak to the registry office and move the date back? They might charge you a small fee or they may just move it. give yourself a few more months

Char - would you consider a small wedding, a meal afterwards and then planning the huge knees up for a wedding anniversay in 12 months time or something?? That way you will have the time to save for something bigger etc

Hun its your day and you have to do what you want, but don't settle for second best, I'd postpone and save for a while then do it.

I had my dream wedding and I don't have a regret but my mate compromised because of money and she regrets it.

But having s blessing would be nice my cousin did that and it was lovely.
